Well-furnished rooms are panelled throughout in warm juniper and pine, with polished wooden floors everywhere. All rooms have attached bathrooms with running hot and cold water. Log fires are available in the guest rooms in winter. A beautiful garden graces the back of the building.
The Bellevue is different. The rooms are NOT the same hotel rooms you find repeated all over the world — all the Bellevue's rooms are different.
The Bellevue is not a 'theme' hotel, pretending to be 'Tibetan' or 'Traditional' and merely decorated to look the part. It IS a Tibetan hotel, a private hotel, owned and run by a Tibetan Bhuddist family.
